Fresh Ginger (One Piece or Triptych) is an original watercolor. I cut the 45” length of paper into 3 sections and proceeded to paint my favorite ginger flowers. They included red ginger, shell ginger, and blue ginger all of which have grown in my yard at different stages of my garden’s evolution. I wanted to communicate the cool color palette with this original, so teals, aqua, lavenders, purples were used for the background. It is one of my favorite pieces and many women are drawn to this very feminine, cool and relaxing image.
