Flowing In Harmony is a mixed media collage that incorporates a collage Asian inspired background and a watercolor koi placed on top. This is a triptych (3 part) image. I have always admired the smooth flowing movement of the koi fish as they glide through the water. Their presence creates a sense of calm in life. Arranging the water colored koi on the artwork to communicate movement was the most challenging but fun part of the work. Image A symbolizes companionship as two koi swim side by side through life. Image B is a single koi representing solitude, the self and who we are. Image C is the Yin and Yang of life or balance. The images can be purchased individually or as a set.
