Flowing In Harmony is a mixed media collage that incorporates a collage Asian inspired background and a watercolor koi placed on top. This is a triptych (3 part) image. I have always admired the smooth flowing movement of the koi fish as they glide through the water. Their presence creates a sense of calm in life. Arranging the water colored koi on the artwork to communicate movement was the most challenging but fun part of the work. Image B is a single koi representing solitude, the self and who we are.
