For a long time, I had a fascination with Hydrangeas because every Easter and spring we would have a plant either given to us or purchased ourselves. It is my mother’s favorite flower and mine too. I love the color and the color variations from violets, blue, lavender, or white and green can sometimes be found on one plant. I learned that the acidity of the soil will determine it’s color of the flower. The original was a watercolor and it was done during my collection phase of blue and white Ming type ceramics.
